My Story

Welcome to my site — I’m Janice.

I’ve reinvented myself more times than I can count, and every single time, I’m blown away by the woman I become. But let me be honest — reinvention didn’t come easy. For years, I resisted it. I stayed in the same industry far too long, convinced my skills weren’t special, that I wasn’t enough to try something new.

I was living in my comfort zone, but truthfully? It wasn’t very comfortable at all.

I knew deep down I wanted more — more passion, more purpose, more me. But I kept settling: for a job that didn’t light me up, and for relationships where I shrank myself to avoid being alone. I stayed quiet, played small, and smiled through pain most people never saw.

Then life cracked me open.

I relocated to British Columbia, believing I was building a life with a man I loved. I’d invested everything — my money, my energy, my belief — into “our” future. Within 24 hours of moving, I saw him sexting other women right beside me. I was shattered.

New city. No money. No support system. I was alone, terrified, and broken. But I did what women do — I kept going. I pretended everything was fine. We even set a wedding date… even though I knew deep down it wasn’t right.

Then — 11 weeks before the wedding — it all fell apart. He blamed me for everything. I was “too much,” “too intense,” “suffocating.” He needed to be “free.”

I had nothing left — no fiancé, no job, and no place to live. A kind couple I barely knew offered me a basement room, and I took it. I had once owned a beautiful home. I had traveled the world, backpacked through Africa. And now, I was starting over… in someone else’s basement.

And then, to top it off… I lost my job.

I had every reason to give up.

But I didn’t.

That was the moment my reinvention began.

  • I entered a brand new career in a completely different industry.

  • I rebuilt myself — emotionally, spiritually, professionally.

  • I found my voice, my power, and my worth.

  • I started asking for what I deserved — in work, in love, and in life.

  • I learned to stand tall, speak up, and say no.

  • I believed in myself again.

And now I help women do the same.

If you’re feeling stuck — in your career, your relationship, your identity — I want you to know something:
You are not alone. You are not broken. You are becoming.

This journey is not quick. It’s not easy.
But it is worth it.

People will leave. Your comfort zone will beg you to stay.
But the version of you waiting on the other side is fierce, free, and full of purpose.

I’m here to guide you there — because if I can do it, so can you.

You are amazing. And you can overcome anything.
